Travel: Nairobi, Kenya – Day 28

Our new beautiful beauty school is finally complete and the girls are all moved in and loving it!

Since we started, I never talked about the class we have been working in. The Panagni Center is the headquaters of Missions Of Hope. On the property it also has a pre school, primary school, and adult education. We didn’t want to waste anytime, so we began teaching in an empty nursery classroom. We had plastic chairs and wooden desks to work. As much as the girls are happy in their new school, they were all perfectly content in the pre school class with the ABC’s on the wall. We have had so many memories on our dark dingy little nursery school, but we are all happy to move forward.

All of our students are so thankful to have the opportunity to have an education. They work so hard and show up everyday on time. I have loved watching them all become friends, too. They have come to rely on each other for educational and personal support.
